Mobile Caregiver+ Issue Regarding 0 Duration Services

On December 28th, Netsmart released a new version of the Mobile Caregiver+ mobile app intended to only unselect tasks associated with a service code.  This change inadvertently resulted in service codes also defaulting to unselected.  We have seen an increase in calls where caregivers are not selecting the service code and then completing the checkout without selecting the code and applying the time difference, although they are being warned as shown in the screen below.

Netsmart is working on a hotfix to both the iOS and Android mobile app versions to select the service code(s) by default.  This is expected to be released next week once approved by the Apple & Android stores.  Netsmart will provide an update when this is released so that caregivers can download the updated version.

Until then, Provider Administrators should instruct Caregivers to select service codes by tapping the checkbox beside the service code.

Important Note: Tasks will still be unselected by default so caregivers will now be required to select the tasks that they actually performed.  This should also be communicated to caregivers as this ensures they are making a conscious effort to mark the tasks they completed for compliance purposes.

Netsmart will assist with updating the service duration for visits impacted by this defect, if they have only 1 service code.  Visits with more than 1 service code will need to be updated by the provider to ensure the correct duration is applied to each service.
