Claim Rejections Due to Incorrect Claim Submitted Amount

Netsmart has identified claim rejections due to the claim amount submitted being incorrect. This is occurring when multiple visits for a recipient are being rolled up into a single claim line. This issue was corrected during the Production release on February 17th. On Monday, February 21st, Netsmart will be re-releasing the rejected claims impacted by this error for billing, so no other action is required by providers.

Future Enhancement Announcement: Netsmart will be enhancing the Provider Portal to provide more visibility into the actual amount billed on claims and the individual claim lines in the the Provider Portal, along with the Billed Amount from the visit data. Netsmart Product Management is currently working on requirements to enhance the Claim Review screen and the claim denial and resubmission workflow. The Claim Submitted Amount and Line Submitted Amounts will be included in these enhancements and are expected to be released in Q2 2022.
